Have you ever been discriminated for being a mother I never knew about Motherism until I heard about it the first time this summer(it caught my attention due to being pregnant at the time. The description is; Fat, ugly, lazy and dumb) I do not match that description and would never have guessed to be made feel like this by a doctor, especially Dr. Hamed who is a woman and obviousely a career women herself. If you are efficient and run your home like you would in a career. DO NOT GO HERE. If you have pride of your baby and your own appearance DO NOT GO HERE. I do not match the description and had the unfortunate luck of going to this clinic and the doctor came in didn't even acknowledge or look at my child but looked me up and down and started talking down at me as though I am stupid never in my career tenure would this type of behaviour been acceptable then when the doctor was trying to force the return to this clinic with no legitimate reason accept the basis of a chart that is based on the average which Father and Mother have never matched walked out on Father without answering when we had already chosen that if another opinion was needed it would not be conducted here. Doctors are wrong too, I know I have been misdiagnosed and so has this young child we seeked a second opinion and added testings from Cheo hospital (who I remind you is a child specialised hospital who I am sure if there was any signs of concern would have continued care of my child but had already dismissed the chart that this doctor is now arguing she seen her a total of 5 minutes and supposedly knows my child better then Father, Mother, Montfort hospital, Cheo hospital.) When we tried explaining our belief she dismissed us with walking out of the office with no answer, a doctor has NO RIGHT to have such a poor bedside manner nor force a hypothesis based on something that is supposed to be a guide alone NOT THE BIBLE and not consider all other factors. Surprise is this Doctor is not the only professional and this very successful professional will not settle for this type of discrimination. And because she could not recruit more ohip money for her clinic and force another visit when parents had already decided another opinion would not come from the same clinic she lodges a complaint to C.A.S ( not that I am worried about that, I am a confident Mother and know this will be neither here nor there. But the principal of these actions by this woman doctor have been unacceptable to the max, and should not be tolerated by any Mother.) The brutalising of Mother's rights to enjoy being a Mother infringed by doctors like this is intolerable and should be know this is why; I warn you!

If you are a smaller women, blond hair or blue eyed and have a non blimp baby DO NOT COME HERE. Your made to feel like an inadequate Mother from a Raciste woman doctor who will then after critising you and your baby who regardless the healthy status of your child disregarding the facts that you've went through tests proving the health of your child after worrying prior to your visite here because your baby is petite and despite asking for a legitamate reason to be getting more tests done to your child to proove what you have already have and what you know of your own baby as a Mother who cares for your child. They call and involve C.A.S just to do so. (C.A.S involvement on a non legitimized complaint usually is ignored but bring in credentials on a racist and boom you now have a file open. I am co-operating with them to close a file that should NEVER have been opened in the first place) It is a SAD world we live in when Doctors can make Mothers feel bad simply for the way you are (petite) and then if your child god forbid follows trend of your family history of smaller people. (Their only excuse is their measuring scale but I didn't ever measure that scale either neither did the Father does that automatically make you a bad parent; My baby is made small, strong, meeting mile stones and before time on most, has had other medical tests done to prove nothing is wrong. The average North American is what that scale is based on and the average North American is unhealthy and obese so watch out if your child is not over weight you'll see discrimination 101 by this Doctor! No wonder Mom's are going through post partem depression at a rate like never before (with Doctors like this how could they not)
