AlarmForce was founded in 1988. We are leaders in home security, two-way emergency response systems and video surveillance. We provide service across Canada and a growing number of American cities. Unlike many of our competitors, we take full control of our products, installation, and monitoring. We design and manufacture our products, all of our technicians work for AlarmForce and we do not use third-party monitoring centres. We have carefully designed and refined our proprietary technology and have created an end-to-end solution that’s designed to do one thing well: protect you and your family. We broke into the American market in November 2004 in North Carolina, and two years later expanded into Ohio, followed by Georgia in 2007. Between 2010 and 2011, we began servicing the state of Minnesota and Florida. We now operate out of 11 major service centers around the United States, located in: With 6 major service centres across Canada located in: AlarmForce revolutionized home security when we introduced live two-way voice in 1991, and our company went public in 1997. Shortly after, we launched AlarmPlus in 2000, which uses a wireless signal designed to prevent a system failure if a phone line is cut. 2008 saw the launch of AlarmCare, the personal emergency response system designed so that individuals such as the elderly can live independently and securely. In October 2011, we expanded our live two-way voice system by creating a VideoRelay, a video surveillance system that can be checked from your phone. VideoRelay can be used independently or in conjunction with your AlarmForce home security system.
