A Northern Based Airline (Yellowknife NWT), providing a diverse fleet of turboprop aircraft services. We are best known for our Dash 7 Combi aircraft and Twin Otter off-strip flight operations equipped with floats, skis and tundra tires throughout Canada's arctic. Essential operations include daily scheduled flights serving isolated communities, medevac (air ambulance) flights throughout northern Canada and charter flights serving mining, tourism, government and community support services. Air Tindi is a subsidiary of Discovery Air Inc. Together with our partners, Tli Cho Air, Aqsaqniq Air, Kivallingmiut Aviation, Auyuittuq Aviation, Denesoline, Deh Cho Air and our 180 employees, we operate 29 aircraft of 9 different types. DASH 7, Beech 1900D and King Air 200 aircraft are dispatched from the Yellowknife Airport; charter flights may be booked by contacting the Air Tindi Airport SOC. Twin Otter and Caravan aircraft are dispatched from the Yellowknife Floatbase; charter flights on this aircraft types may be booked by contacting the Air Tindi Floatbase Dispatch Office. Our scheduled service network includes daily passenger and cargo flights linking the communities of Fort Simpson, Lutsel K'e, Gameti, Wekweeti, Whati and Yellowknife.
