Since 2001, the 3G Group has designed or built over 150 megawatts of renewable energy projects across Canada – enough clean, green energy to power over 70, 000 Canadian homes. We have won several awards for our work including the Sustainable Development Award from the DuPont Corporation in 2004. In 2007, we were awarded a grant from the Canadian government under the SDTC program for our design of a slip-form concrete tower for wind turbines, as well as funding in 2009 by the Ontario Centres of Excellence to support a solar energy research project on a de-activated landfill site. 3G provides a range of renewable energy services including solar and wind. We currently are assisting in community energy audits for Ontario First Nation groups. Plus we are working with a German wind turbine manufacturer on an energy storage research project. We can assist with planning, financing, constructing and managing renewable energy projects from 10kW to 100MW.
