Sunday Worship Service and Sunday School 9:30 am Where Are We? We are a short drive southeast of Ottawa near the village of Edwards at the cross roads of Yorks Corners Road and Parkway Road. Who Are We? We have been an active congregation for over a hundred years, and we are a vibrant, friendly group of people who enjoy worshipping together. We also find satisfaction in working and having fun together as we reach out into our community and the world to help wherever we can. The church building was first opened by a Baptist congregation in 1900. In 1907 it was bought by the Presbyterians and in 1925 it became a United Church. Major renovations were the addition of the Sunday School room (now the study) in 1977 and on Dec. 8, 2000 the whole building was moved from the small lot on the corner of Yorks Corners and Parkway to the new foundation on a larger lot. This project also included a generously-sized vestibule, finished basement, two bathrooms and running water.
