The Reel Doctor was established in 1997 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The business grew out of the need for basic reel servicing and parts in the area. It has grown to include rod repair as well as becoming a warranty center for Minn Kota, Scotty, Zebco, Quantum, Pure Fishing (including Mitchell, Abu Garcia, Johnson...etc), Martin rods and reels, and Aqua Vu underwater cameras. The Reel Doctor also offers reel repairs and parts for Shimano and Penn fishing reels. Our emphasis is on customer service with a quick turn around time! It includes thousands of fishing reel parts, reels and accessories right at your finger tips! In November of 2005, The Reel Doctor launched a new website called MitchellParts. It was created out of demand as a source for fishermen alike to share their passion for all that is Mitchell. With thousands of new old stock parts, fishing reel repair/restoration, schematics, part interchange lists, and more, The Reel Doctor also buys and sells on y as “the_reel_doctor” and has had more than 2000 successful transactions, with the positive feedback to prove it! The Reel Doctor is owned and operated by Trevor Davies since 2007. Trevor is an avid fisherman who spend any spare minute on the lake and loves to share his knowledge and experience with his customers and friends. Walleye Trail Angler of the Year 2013!
