Tien Lung Taekwon-Do has been partnering with parents for over 25 years. We believe in supporting family values. Teaching children to become leaders. Fitness as a part of a healthy life. Having the courage to always do the right thing. We offer classes for ages 2 years and up. We offer a unique after school program where we pick students up from school, transport them to our facility and they enjoy Taekwon-Do classes 5 days a week. Parents pick up on their way home. Daily activity is taken care of, now the focus is on family time, homework or other family activities. Our 2-3 year old and 4-5 year old preschool programs focus on increasing attention span, developing focus and concentration, develop body awareness, building strength and coordination, children learn respect and discipline. Classes are taught in a fun atmosphere. Preschool classes also incorporate Street Proofing. Our evening program is for all ages, incorporates fitness, self-defense, coordination, as well as stamina. If you are looking to explore the competitive side of Taekwon-Do we can certainly get you there. We offer a separate Competitive Program that incorporates Taekwon-Do development and the use of a Personal Fitness Trainer and specific Fitness classes. Strength, agility, skill, endurance, balance, coordination are all skills that Taekwon-Do can help you develop. We believe in having families train together. Taekwon-Do is a sport that can help in many other areas of life for both adults and children. Taekwon-Do helps with focus, concentration, endurance, fitness. Imagine putting these skills to use in Soccer, Hockey, Football, Baseball, and so many other sports because Taekwon-Do has helped build strength, fitness, endurance and focus, skills others in the sport may not have developed yet. Westmount Karate and Kobudo Club is a member of Genbukai, headquartered in Santa Ana, California. The Head and Chief Instructor of Genbukai is Shihan Fumio Demura, who trained under Master Sakagami, one of Kenwa Mubuni’s students. Genbukai combines training in Shito-Ryu Karate with Kobudo, the study of traditional Okinawan weapons. Shihan Demura conducts a seminar at least once a year in our area, giving our students an opportunity to train directly with a Karate Master.

Sung Lee TKD focuses on... At Sung Lee TaeKwonDo Academy we focus on enhancing physical and mental conditioning through the development of self-confidence, respect for others, character building, leadership skills and self-discipline. Children in turn improve their ability to concentrate and focus on setting goals and working towards achieving them. This in turn helps children in school. The Good Citizenship Award Program, Outstanding Reports Program and the Hwarang Team help to reinforce discipline, respect, good listening, obedience and focus at school and at home. At Sung Lee TaeKwonDo Academy we work towards reducing negative attitudes and bad habits through praise and encouragement and positive reinforcement. All of the instructors have been personally trained by Master Sung Lee. Instructors and assistant instructors are required to complete several levels of instructor training. The instructors at Sung Lee TaeKwonDo Academy have a high level of technical skill as well as the ability to related well to children of all ages. We work with children of all ages and understand that younger children have shorter attention spans. Their growth physically, mentally and spiritually is extremely important to us. Growing up in today’s world in not easy trying to deal with things like peer pressure, drugs and gangs. Building up self confidence in our younger generation gives them the ability to resist these pressures. Giving them the skills and encouragement to face these challenges in a family-oriented environment extremely important at Sung Lee TaeKwonDo Academy. Children are our future. Give them the opportunity to become good people and to make our world a better place.
