Claffey C.Dr. Claffey is the senior veterinarian and owner of the Centre. He has enjoyed a lengthy career in the veterinary profession and special interest in orthopedics, endoscopy, laser surgery and all areas of traditional surgery.Dr. Claffey grew up in the Edmonton area, graduating from Bonnie Doon High School in 1964. He then entered the University of Alberta for his pre-veterinarian education. After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974, he practiced in Edmonton for two years prior to opening the Millwoods Animal Clinic in 1976. In October 1995, Dr. Claffey relocated his practice to a modern, free-standing veterinary hospital in south Edmonton, the Animal Medical Centre.
