We’ll be happy to provide you with all the information you’ll need to get to where you want to go, and back again, while you’re here. It’s only a short walk to... the locks of the historic Shubenacadie Canal . Once part of an old MiKmaq waterway, the canal linked Chebucto ( Halifax Harbour ) with Cobequid Bay at the head of the Bay of Fundy . Today you’ll find trails from the campground that gently wind their way through the woods leading to the Shubenacadie Interpretive Centre where the area’s history is brought to life.
