Airspeed High Ultralights started in July 2009 with the intention of bringing a professional approach to Ultralight flight training. Its owner/operator, Mr. Andreas Ruttkiewicz, is a former Canadian Forces pilot, holds a private pilot license and an Ultralight permit with instructor rating. He has flown an array of aircraft including CF-18s. Andreas is a Transport Canada authorized person(AP), Transport Canada pilot examiner(PE) and an Industry Canada Radio License Examiner Airspeed High Ultralights believes that flight training should not only be safe and professional, but also fun and rewarding. Where possible, we use scenario based training to keep it interesting and realistic. We encourage students to dedicate a set time period to obtaining their permit. Training is more efficient and cost effective when a consistent schedule is followed.
