Claudette Mainville is the owner and operator of Create-A-Cake. Create-A-Cake has been serving the Sudbury and area since 1979. Originally a store front, it became a home-based business in 1985 with a health unit approved kitchen. As it's name implies sugar art is its main goal. Claudette truly loves baking and decorating cakes. With years of experience, her skills are impressive. She started taking courses in Sudbury then went to McCall's School of Cake Decorating in Toronto. She is a member of ICES, International Cake Exploration Societe. Julie her daughter has joined the team, and enjoys working with fondant and doing the Christmas baking. Christmas is a very busy time with "tourtieres", cookies and other goodies. While summer is typically wedding season.
