Since 1983, the Campbell River Women's Resource Centre has been providing quality care and services to women living throughout the Campbell River area and the surrounding northern Vancouver Island communities. We are an arm of the Vancouver Island North Women’s Resource Society and are proud to be housed at the Rose Harbour Housing Complex. At the Women's Centre Drop-In you will find a friendly welcoming place open to all women and their children. Come visit us for peer support or crisis counselling. We can help refer you to other resources in the community. We have coffee & tea, as well as a comfortable place to gather. We have two computers connected to the internet for your use. Poverty Relief Program: We offer women and their families who are living on low income. Free personal care supplies such as shampoo, toothpaste, Feminine hygiene supplies Gently used women's clothing and some household linens An annual school supply drive and distribution Once a year we offer school supplies to low income families with the help of generous donations from the community, the Coastal Spirit Fund, the Altrusa Club of Campbell River, and a grant from the Province of British Columbia.
