Cornerstone is a place where the community’s junior high youth can come to find solace from whatever issues that life may be dealing them. They can be assured that they will be greeted by friendly staff and volunteers who are willing to lend an ear and can be positive role models. Youth will find numerous fun activities to do and will be able to build relationships with other youth, the staff and volunteers. The centre is a place where youth are encouraged to be themselves and discover their passion and potential. -Eliminate boredom through our various . -Provide mentoring. -Encourage wholesome conversations. -Provide positive role models. -Provide nutritious snacks. -Encourage an active lifestyle. -Provide fun activities (For full list, see our programs ) . -Provide an alternative to at-risk behaviours. -Encourage youth to discover their passion and potential. Why We Do It We believe in the old adage, it takes a village to raise a child. We believe that the youth of today are the future and deserve the opportunity to have a voice and be heard. We want youth to know that they are important, cared for, and have the potential to do anything they put their mind to!
