Swiss Watch Clinic is located at #113, 1805 - 14th Street SW in Calgary, Alberta. As owner and operator of the Swiss Watch Clinic, André brings thirty-seven years of experience to the business. Originally from Gerlafingen, Switzerland, he immigrated to Canada in 1976. André began his profession by apprenticing with Lanco in Langendorf from 1970 for three years. In 1973, he took up a position with Rado Watch Company in the assembly plant as a watchmaker repairing movements being produced in the factory. After moving to Montreal, Canada, André worked for Rodania Watch Company among others until 1982. He found himself back in Switzerland from 1982 to 1988 where he worked again for Rado. In 1988 he settled in Calgary, Alberta where, after two years working for Birks store, he opened his own business. Swiss Watch Clinic is primarily a watch repair service operation; however, it is also a retail outlet for various types of watches, both new and used. On occasion a collection of estate watches is available for purchase. As well as doing watch repairs on all makes of watches, Swiss Watch Clinic also replaces watch straps, repairs watch bracelets, and even performs water-resistant tests on sports watches. Using high tech equipment, Swiss Watch Clinic can do a thorough cleaning on all makes of watches.
