Hard to believe, The Proper Topper Bridal Shop actually opened in 1986 in a small location in Hamilton on Upper James St. Originally I opened as a millinery store. That's a hat shop for those shaking their heads. That was over 25 years ago and yes everything has changed since then. We moved to Caledonia in 2000 and have made many additions to our product lines. In 2003 we decided to carry gowns as well as the bridal accessories we had become known for. In 2005 we ambitiously added a bridesmaids loft where bridal parties could view up to 200 dresses short and long. Our building at 99 Argyle St. North is not just my store, it is also my cherished home. Surrounded with lovely gardens nestled on the Argyle St. North of beautiful small town Caledonia, it is a lovely unique destination to make your wedding dreams come true.
