We are a small family farm situated on 4.5 acres established in 2004. We take a lot of pride in what we grow and supplying our local community. We would not exist without the help of family, friends and our customers. Our emphasis is on older varieties that have amazing flavour. We are trying to preserve a simple, age old way of life that has sustained people all over the world for ages. Both of us are transplanted easterners who enjoy the pace and the natural beauty of island living. When we sneak away from the farm we like to bike, canoe and ski or just chill at the river or beach. Farmer's markets the world over are great way for farmers to get established. They get to interact with customers, get input from more established farmers, and get a fair price for their product by cutting out the middle person. The average age of a farmer in Canada is approaching 65 and unless we take concrete steps now we will face real problems.
