We start by taking a history of your previous dental care and other relevant medical information. At this time, we also talk about your reasons for booking the appointment, as well as your concerns and expectations. The dental assistant then takes any required radiographs and a complete set of digital photographs of your teeth. We do this so you can be completely informed, educated and involved in planning your dental treatments. The next step is the comprehensive dental exam. Afterwards we will look at the pictures of your teeth, discuss the results of your exam and come up with a treatment plan that works for you. Throughout the visit, we encourage you to ask questions and make sure you understand all of the suggested treatments and procedures. Whether or not you choose to go forward with any of the recommended treatments, we want to make sure you know all of your options.
