Crime Stoppers is based on a well developed and trusted tri-party relationship between the Public, the Police and the Media. The Public provides the anonymous information, the Police investigate the information/crime, and the Media assists in promoting awareness of unsolved crimes and the Crime Stoppers program as a whole. Crime Stoppers is a non-profit, registered charitable organization, relying on the generous contributions of our sponsors and donations from businesses and individuals. Crime Stoppers of Simcoe Dufferin Muskoka services a vast geographical area, encompassing 110, 217 square kilometers and 534, 203 residents. Our communities are varied, ranging from a large city, to towns, hamlets, and rural areas. The program is operated by large team of dedicated civilian volunteers who promote public awareness and education about Crime Stoppers and assist in fund raising activities. Funds raised and donated keep the program viable by supporting the cash reward fund and covering administrative costs such as our 24/7 toll free tip line. The Board of Directors governs the operation of the program and authorizes reward payments. The Board consists of 12 members from the community who also sit on local committees. There are locally focused committees in Barrie, Orillia, Muskoka, Dufferin, South Simcoe, Midland, Oro-Medonte and Wasaga Beach. The Ontario Provincial Police provides a Police Officer to the program in the role of Police Co-ordinator. The Police Co-ordinator manages the two way flow of anonymous information between the program and the police. The Police Co-ordinator is responsible for the media presence of Crime Stoppers and a prominent presence for Crime Stoppers in the community via trusted relationships with the many community stakeholders.

Emmanuel’s Wish Foundation are called to reach out to ‘the least of these’. We do this by providing respite care, advocating for basic rights and providing community development through early childhood programs and parenting courses. We share the gospel and make Jesus Christ central to those we serve. In the past EWF has also undertaken other projects in South Africa, Kenya, and Haiti.

Street Cats consists of a large network of foster homes who provide temporary shelter for abused, forgotten, neglected and impounded animals. Our foster homes act as bridge to a new beginning for each of the animals in our care. Cats are individually assessed and given appropriate medical treatment including vaccinations, parasite control, etc. The foster families not only provide a warm, safe environment - they also provide something so many of these animals have lived without for far too long ... lots and lots of LOVE! And since all of our foster kitties are housed in a regular home environment, it helps us learn each cat's individual personality.
