Established in 1983, the Centre d'action bénévole des Sources volunteer centre is located in Asbestos, in the MRC des Sources. It's an information and mutual aid hub and its principal role is to promote the recognition of volunteer work as a community contribution. For 30 years, our community organization has proven to be a major partner in the social development of its milieu. Demonstrating initiative and creativity, it suggests alternative responses to the needs of its community and uses a global person-centred approach. The CAB des Sources is an independent community organization funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Services. We are also a duly registered charitable organization authorized to issue income tax receipts.
