Duncan McRae and Bernard Villeneuve founded Roxborough Bus Lines in 1976. In 1994 the partners’ sons – Daryl McRae and George Villeneuve – carried forth their fathers' ambitions by becoming official owners and operators of the firm. In its third generation Daryl's son, Nicholas McRae, came on board with the group, as did Blaine Filion, whose strategic business perspectives compliment those of his partners. Since then the company has expanded from one operation to four (Maxville, Cornwall, Alexandria and Clarence Creek, Greely), and from one employee to over 240. Roxborough’s growth is attributable to the success of its employees, its community involvement, its relationship with the Consortiums and more importantly, its long-term outlook. The company is committed to providing safe, efficient and effective transportation services to over 6, 000 students per day. Its services include (but are not limited to): school bus transportation, special needs, wheel chair, etc.
