The original farm site on Vye Rd. where Jerry and Audrey still currently live, was purchased in 1978. Together they built a 100 sow farrow to finish operation. Over the past 30 years they have expanded to what is now a 500 sow farrow to finish operation. In order to have better control of the feed being fed to the herd, a fully computerized feed mill was installed in 1990. The finishing barn was renovated and expanded in 2000 to allow the pigs to be bedded on sawdust. This bedding is then composted in a seperate composting barn and sold as organic compost. In 2005 the Geldermans planted blueberries on 25 acres of their farm and have been enjoying the fruits of their hard work ever since. Jerry and Audrey, together with their children Tim & Crystal and Nathan & Heather work hard to raise healthy, safe, quality pork and blueberries.
